Decommissioning of a cogeneration plant inside the Barilla factory

Demolition of the main power generation unit of the combined-cycle thermal power plant (CTE), consisting of:

a 30 MW General Electric LM2500 natural gas turbine with a 40.8 MVA Brush alternator

a GVR Pensotti with afterburner and a 30-meter-high / 5.6-meter-diameter chimney

a 10 MW Turbomach Marc 4 condensing steam turbine

a 12 MVA Leroy Somer alternator coupled to the steam turbine

a shell-and-tube condenser for the steam turbine, complete with auxiliaries

an 8-cell modular evaporative cooling tower for the condenser and plant auxiliaries, with forced draft and 3 recirculation pumps

a step-up transformer T1 and a unit transformer TRA (resin-insulated) for auxiliary services of the gas and steam turbines and general plant services
